A study in power, perception, and the selective nature of morality.
Centered around the image of a mugshot, this work questions how criminality is defined, who is allowed redemption, and how influence can reshape public perception. Layered imagery drawn from media, nationalism, and collective unrest creates a fractured environment where spectacle and belief begin to blur together.
The repeated scenes behind the central figure reference blind loyalty, manipulation, and the emotional force of political identity. The work is less concerned with a single individual and more focused on the system that allows image, power, and narrative to outweigh accountability.
The title remains intentionally unresolved. American Dream?
