A study in image, identity, and the pursuit of perfection.
Referencing Warhol’s Plastic Surgery, this piece explores the tension between what is real and what is presented. The repeated smiley faces echo the language of pop—symbols of happiness, uniform and easily consumed—while their imperfections interrupt the illusion.
The phone becomes both mirror and mask. A tool for self-construction, where identity is filtered, edited, and performed.
Plastic surgery promises perfection. Social media performs it.
