A reflection on resilience, instinct, and the fractured nature of the self.
The tiger becomes symbolic of inner strength—the force that continues forward even when life feels unstable, isolating, or broken apart. Torn collage elements interrupt and partially conceal the image, representing fragmentation, pressure, and the attempt to suppress personal power beneath damage, memory, and circumstance.
Despite the destruction, the tiger remains present.
The work embraces imperfection through raw tearing, exposed layers, and instinctive composition. Rather than hiding the damage, it allows it to exist openly as part of the piece itself.
Bright pink softens and confronts simultaneously—transforming a color often dismissed as delicate into something grounding, defiant, and strong.
